Which Software can handle >700MB mi files?

Hi,

i´ve got a mi file of 700 Megabyte with a syntax error.
I tried to open it with Visual Studio, Aptana, Notepad++, aso ... No program i used can handle this big file size.

Do you have a hint for me?

vi should be able to handle it.
please also have a look at http://www.devcurry.com/2010/08/free-text-editors-to-open-large-text.html, editpad pro sounds good but i have not used it personally.

kannst du nicht mit VisualStudio Line by Line einlesen? Vielleicht kann Alex helfen.
Ansonsten kenn ich noch dieses Tool, aber nie selber probiert.

UltraEdit will be able to read it, you just need to disable the "Temp file in edit mode" setting in the File Handling settings. Just make sure you edit the file on a backup copy, because all edits are permanent in this mode (no undo).
